Having operated at VP and CEO level within international ICT and software businesses, she brings a rare combination of legal rigor and executive accountability — an ability to translate complex regulatory and governance challenges into clear business strategy.

The industry is truly committed to delivering reliable, comfortable and safe transportation service for all. More recently, I felt especially proud to work in this industry that is willing to work even harder during very challenging times to serve the community in traditional and non-traditional ways, from transporting essential workers to delivering food for those in need.
My best memories with transit are the very first time I rode some of the busiest metros: the Mexico City metro, the New York City subway, and the Shanghai metro. However, I will never forget the first time I rode the Eurostar train from London to Paris. I was impressed by how we could be moving under water at high speed and practically felt nothing. It was such a thrilling experience and I remember thinking it was the best engineering wonder at that time.
